Letter from Lieut J.Edmonston and Capt.Richard Scott and james Pearson , soliciting that they may be allowed the gratuity of rupees 600 per month as commanding officers of the regiments of Sepoys with Col.Pearse s detachment , from the time it was struck off till the receipt of the new regulations which gave back to the officers those advantages which the gratuity had replaced.
