Letter from the President and Council of Bombay, intimating that the Boards Advertisement restraining the importation of Muscat salt into Bengal has been published at Bombay and that the Companys broker at Muscat has been informed of it, requesting the transmission of the advices and private letters from the Court of Directors by the Earl of Oxford, reporting the destruction of the Bombay Grab by firs submitting plans and estimates for the construction of two frigates, stating that the cotton thread is ready to be despatched to Bengal, and that they despatched the Greyhoud to Fort Cornwallis to relieve the Panther and transmitting with their remarks copies of certain letters together with registers of subscriptions to the bond debt proposals and of bills of exchange.
