Amendment to state Railway leave rules on the basis of Board's letter No. E(S) I- 59 CPC/LE/3 dated 27-1-60 i.e. a railway servant who is in permanent employment and who has been continuously officiating n another post for more than 3 years at the time he proceeds on leave, the pay drawn by him in the post in which he was so officiating or in which he would have officiated but for his officiating appointment in an equivalent or a still higher post, shall be deemed to be his substantive pay - benefit not extend.
