Question whether the insignia of orders etc., awarded to Indian nationals should, in case the holders die after the transfer of power in June 1948, be recovered from their next of kin. Decision that casualty Reports should be once forth be reported to the United Kingdom High Commissioner in India, New Delhi. Decision that the U.K. H.C`s office in India themselves should take action about recovery of insignia from heirs of the deceased, information about whom can be oppointed by us, if required.
