Question of the grant of lower Indian titles to Tahsildars and Jailors in the United provinces irrespictive of the salary limit of Rs.300/- per mensem. 2. Decision that the United Provinces should receive no preferential treatment in this respect, and that the policy under whcih relexation of the salary rule is made only in really deserving cases, should unal tered.
