Enhancement of the duty on rum supplied through the Commissariat Department to British and Native Troops in India proper and Burma by 12 annas per proof gallon, with effect from 1st April 1899. Question of effecting a similar enhancement in the duty on rum supplied to Sikhs and Gurkhas serving in the Burma Military Police referred to the Burma Government.
