Examination of the position whether vacancies in the posts of Secretary to the Government of India cannot be kept unifilled for short period. Decision that while there is no Statutory impediment to the leaving of a Secretaryship unfilled for a period not exceeding three month, the matter need not be pursued no far as the Finance Department is concerned.
