Grant of a pension of Rs.2-12 a month to Basri, widow of Mangoo, late a khalasi attached to the Survey Detachment with the Waziristan Field Force, who died of sickness contracted on field service. Amendment of Articles 776 and 778 of the Civil Service Regulations, providing pensions for the families of officers who may die of illness contracted on field service. Question of amending Article 778 (II) of the Civil Service Regulations so as to provide wound and family pensions in the case of officers whose salary is below Rs.16 a month, dropped for the present.
