Grant of a compassionate gratuity of Rs. 480 to Yemna Bee, widow of the late Subadar Abdul Suthar Khan, 4th Madras Pioneers, who was killed by a sepoy of his regiment. Government of India held not to have power to grant, without reference to the Secretary of State, extraordinary gratuities in cases which are subject to the Military Regulations, and which do not fall within the condition of those Regulations.
