Decision that the grant to Mr. M. K. Mitra, Controller of Railway Accounts of leave which commenced about 6 months before the age of superannuation and extended to 6 months beyond that date was admissible under the provisions of Fundamental Rule 86(a). Question of amending Fundamental Rule 86 with a view to preclude the grant of leave after the age of superannuation in such cases considered and dropped.
