Report on the Administration of the Salt and Continental Customs Department in the Bombay Presidency for the year 1887-88. The attention of the Government of Madras invited to the large increase in the export of nominal duty paid salt from the Bombay Presidency to Travancore and Cochin, and an enquiry made of that Government as to whether any, and if so, what means exist for controlling the supply of such salt to those States.
