Observations of the Secretary of State on the subject of the increased duty on spirits imported into India. Home Government`s orders on the subject of the complain by Messrs Cutler, Palmer& Co. regarding the Bombay Rule under which the importation and sale of foreign spirit of a lower strength than 15 below London Proof is forbidden.
