Proposed amendment of the Stamp Act, 1899, so as to increase the stamp duty on bills of exchange and hundis drawn for amount between Rs. 200 and Rs. 1,000 and the remove a verbal error in Section 23-A(I) of the Act by substituting a reference to Article 5(C) for the reference to Article 5(b) in that section.
