Proposals of the Govt. of Madras - i) for the use at all customs houses in British India of Casellas glass hydrometers in place of Sykes metal hydrometers to test the strength of liquors and (II) for the amendment of the provisions of sections 146 and 147 of the Sea Customs Act, VIII of 1878 so as to dispense with the gauging and proof of spirits at the port of export.
