Policy regarding promotion from section officer gr. III to grade II on non-pannelled men decided that appointments on a purely short term basis against the Grade II vacancies might be made from among the senior most assistant superintendents in a directorate in which the vacancy has arisen on the recommendation of the Director concerned.
