Fixation of officiating pay under F. R. 31. Suggestion that if a Govt. servant who in the normal course would continue to officiate in a higher post applies for a short period of leave with the deliberate intension of getting the benefit of the increment accruing to him in his substantive post during the leave for the fixation of his pay in the offg. Post on reappointment to it, the question of refusing the leave under. F. R. 67 or of limiting the offg. Pay on reappointment on return from leave to what the Govt. Servant would have drawn had he continued to officiate without a break should be considered.
