Verification of thumb and finger impressions.Decision that in the case of candidates for appointmentto non-gazetted posts the existing practice must contine so far as illiterate persons are concered and that in the case of literate persons who can sign in English it will be sufficient if the examining Medical Officers Board is asked to obtain on the medical certificate the signature of the candidate in his or its peresence, and if this is afterwards verificated by the head of the office by comparision with that in the Service Book.
