In reply to Secretary of State`s Despatch No. 105 (Financial ), dated the 14th May last, states that the Government of India agree with His Lordship`s proposal not to enforce the rule contained in note 3 to Article 42 (e), Civil Service Regulations, in the case of Captain W. F. C. C. Plowden, when he took furlough in 1887.
