Proposal that Maung Tha Nu, a `local` assistant surgeon now holding a civil surgeoncy in Burma, may be allowed to draw the local allowance of Rs. 50 a month admissible to assistant surgeons and that the same concession may be extended to Maung Chit Tun if and when he is promoted to a Burma civil Surgeoncy.
