Decision that Mr. H.R. Alexander I.P., Burma should as officiating Dy. Inspector General of Police be allowed to elect the one scale of pay for Dy. Inspectors General. Ruling by the Secretary of State that any officer of the Indian Police who officiated as Deputy Inspector General of Police prior to the Ist April 1935 should on reappointment as Deputy Inspector General after that date have the option of electing the old scale of pay.
