Decision that Mr. E. A. Gait cannot be granted an extra allowance for census work in addition to his salary as a Member of Council, Bihar and Orissa. Such cases to be governed by the spirit of the statutory provisions respecting the salaries of Members of the Executive Council of a Presidency.
