Proposed relaxation of Article 51, Civil Service Regulations, so as to provide that any candidate for admission to Government service, when such admission is subject to an age-limit may with the sanction of the local Government or the Government of India, as the case may be, deduct from age any period spent in service connected with the prosecution of the war.
