Report the recipt of a Lr. form gumer Mr. Gonogall appointedan Asst overseer in the dept of public warks in G. O. 18th july 1845 to the address of lieutt Becher soliciting permifssion to reurn to his Regt. and state that they se no objection to the application being complied with obsevation.
