With refer. to his despatch no. 351 of the 26th APril 1845 transmitting extt. from Ct. Lr. no. 102 dated 5th Nov. 1845 expressing their regrat. that they cannot comply with Major Genl. Sir I.Greys soliciting to be permited to draw his staff allownce from the date of his landing at Bombay.
