Transmitting to the Foreign Deptt.for information with refer. to extract political deptt. of 23rd May 1838, para of a letter of this date addresed to teh Mily. Bd. Ord. Deptt. intimating tha it is nto the widh of Govt. that the Two Guns should be relatined at Darjeeling.
