With refec.to a lr. of the 29th March last transmits copy despatch from teh Town Major Shewing the Manner in which the 600 rs. granted by that govt. as compensaiton to the 5th regl.native light ifny. on the occasion of their departure having been postponed when under ordersd of embarkation hav been destribunded.
