With refec. to a lr. of the 28th july last transmits copy fo one addreassed to the Dy. commy. genl. requesting taht payments may be made of the sums mentioned in the Roll fo deduction on account of Family money Assigned by certain officers of H M's 18th regt to theri families in Ceylon.
