In reply to their despatch no 337 of 15th May 1852 regarding certain retrenchments from the disbursment of the Lahore commisst for the month of Octr. 1846 states that with regard to the first item amounting to Rs. 642-6 some more positive evidence is necessary and remit the other two retrenchments amtg. to Rs. 275 o p returned.
