In reply to their despatch no. 1913 of the 29th July last - Submti for consideration and ordr, copy of a commn. from the officer commdg. H.Ms. 9th Foot, stating that the bayonet Scabbard recently issued to tht Regt. are useless, and suggestig that he may be permitted to recd. scabbard filled.
