With refer. to a letter of the 26th ultimo, relative to 2 orphan children of the late private Robers h.Ms. 9th Foot, transmits copy of one from teh officer commanding that regt. on the subject & states taht the commander in chief will order the 2 children to be sent down to calcutta with teh invalids, for the purpose of being sent to England.
