In reply to his despatch no. 450 of 2nd April 1851 and no. 472 of the 9th Idem intiamting that on enquiry it was found that the duties devalring already on the Calcutta Native melitia were so onerons as to precdude the possibility of its furnisheing teh guards Noted within adn with reference to the guards given by the Corps havign been subsequently to some extent reduced teh P in C will cause the detachment .
