With reference to a lr. of the 19th july 1850 forwars a declaration upon haonor from lt. cooll haldance comdg. the 4th N.I. in suppport of the caim for compensation prefirred by that Regt. on account of Band Instrucments plandered by the Enemy in Jan. 1846.
