In contn. of his lr.No.187 of the 1st March 1850 transits the Rolls of Lieut.Col.R.Hawkes, comdg. 6th Regt. Light Cavy. at the passage of the Chenaub, & of Caamp Follower attached to the H.M's 10th fot deemed entitled to the Honorary distinctions granted for the campaign. in the Punjab in 1848/49.
