Shanaham with the Head quarters 1st Cost 3rd Bn. artitlery about to proceed by steam to Benares intimates that he has instructe the controller of Govt. steamers to provide a passage to the formen station for the Ivd. Gunner on the steamer Indus which will leave calcutta.
