with reference to a letter of the 22nd ultimo authorizing the bombay govt. to admit in full the bill for the dawk expension of lieutt. coll. brooke mily decy C.in chief at bombay on the occasion of the priceeding to join his regt. on service with the army o fthe punjaub states thata this dicison being in supercession of the 21th octor. last which had reference also to a chadrge for he dak expenses o flieutt. coll. havelock dy adjutt. genl. ms forces at bambay on the same occasion and the 2nd cases being analogaus solicits instruction as to whether the last mentioned charge might also be admitted in full as a debit against this presy.
