With reference to mily. dept. ltr. no. 849 of the 27th ultimo, states thta Brigadeir Briton in virtue of his late Commissoner as brigader genl. was entile to and has received a consolidated allowance of 2070 Rs. per month the past payemnt of which will as directed remain undestruned.
