With reference to the C in C of Madras army having intimated his wish that on the services the 34th regiment chicacole Lt. Infantry beig replaced by the supreme Government at the disposal of that of Fort Saint George, the coops maybe directed to procedd from dueca to monlmein to relieve the 11th Native Infantry whose tour of Foreign service expires in the beginning of net year, the later corps bein brought to Madras, request that when the time arrives the Government, of India will be pleased to give directions with a view to the requiite arrangements beig made at the Bengal presidencyfor carrying the measure proposed by the C in C into effect.
