Submits for orders a ltr. from Captain Eld 9th n.I. soliciting under the circumstnace stated that his return form Furlo to Europe may be reasoned from the 31st Dec. 1849 instead of the 17th Jan. 1850 as annnexed in G.A. 1st Feb. last.
