Frowarding copy of letter from this department to the Q M Genel. of the army no. 706 of 30th june last and the reply thereto no. 472 of the 24th ultimoi from which it appears that the whole of the Geographical information acquined by that functionary department in affghaniostan was embodied in a map a copy of which waas submitted to Govt. in 1841 and was made over to his department and that other maps gabe been subsequentyu furnished to the deputy surgeon Genel. office.
