Transmitting ltr. no. 1494 dated 15th April 1846 from the Adjt. genl. of the army, to the Secy. to teh govt. of india miy. dpt. and the reply therto no. 203 dated 25th april 1849 stating taht the G.g. assents to the which of the proposed arrangements relative to tehstaff for the troops remanding at Peshawar.
