In reply to a lr. No.256 dt. 29th July last, regaridng the enlargement of standard & quarter Guard rooms resubmit the plans which were forwarded for approval with a lr. of 29th June 1847 as being in the boards opinions the best adapted for the enlarged quarter guard of those tey had rfeceived from the Various supg. engr. soliciting that govt. will decide which of them.
