With reference to Mily.Deptt. Lr.No.839 of the 28th Instt. state that a passage to Madras for Lieut.Buttler, can be had on the H.Co's Steamer Hugh Lindsay, and that the comdr. of the vessel has been instructed to provide that officer with a passage accordingly.
