In rpply to a letter of the 16th instant state that the audit statment on the affghanistan commissrait disbursment for August1842 was depatched to the depy. commanding Genel. on the 24th march 1847 that they have addressed Lt. coll. thomson regarfding the accounts of the late captain G Gugent requesting that should the affaghanistan.
