States that a lr. was forwrds on the 15th Instant to the officer commanding him to detach to fall Bagh within a mile of the nawabs palace at moonstedabad 3 companies of N.I. from the troops under his command to keep the peace between the rival sects of Hindoo. and nusselman during their respective festival of the doorgah Poojah and mohuerum and that he has received annsiver from bt. major Gondon reporting that the instructions therin conveyedwere duly carried into effect on the 17th Instant.
