In reply to no. 987 dated 10th Instant states that govt. have resolved that the arracan Bnb. delatchments shall bee supplied with rice bny the comt. dept. or a money compenscition paid to the men under the present energence and solong only asit shall contine and request information as to whcih arrangement may be considered most economical.
