With reference to his letter No 318 of the 6th january last states that he is desirous of substiuting rs 10,000 in Bank of Bengal stock in him of the Government promissary date fro that amount deposited as his security and there fore solicits permission to endourse in favor of the secretary military Department two and half Bank of Bengal .
