With reference to an Extract of the 19th November last, relative to the fees demanded by the law Officers of Govt. for drawing up conductor Dawe's Indemnity Bond as superintendent of the Dhoon Canals Transmits for information copy resolution stating that Governments with a view to put a stop to the devusity of practice which has obtained in this respect have resolued that in furure persons actually in the employemnt of Govt. whether in the Civil or Military Department shall not be liable to nay charge for the preparation and execution of any documents connected with these appointments which the law officer of the Honble Company may be required to draw up by the Head's of the officer or Department in which such person may be employed.
