In Continuation of his letter, no 399 of 30th April last, and with refrence to mily Department reply no 239 of 9th julyu, submits, the C.in Chief, recommendation that the requests, number of flint, muskets, may be carefully, selected for the 2nd Oude, local infantry from those now in store in the cawnpore, Magazine, and returned as repaired unservicelable as suggested by the mily Board.
