In reply to your office letter no 957 of the 14th instant I am directed to acquaint you for the information of the Honable the Deputy governor of Bengal that captain John Lang of the 3rd reginment Native Infantry has been placed g.o. no 383 of this date at the disposal of the Bengal government for employment on the Nuddia Rivers.
