In reply to mily dept letterno 374 of 15th apl last states that the madras govt regret that the explanation offered as to the cause of thedelay in the umbarkation of the Madrs troops for Rangoon should not have been considered satisfactory and therfore requestes that the accompanyin copies of minutes by the regt honble the govr by the honble Mr.thomusn amy be laidn befor the govt of India .
